Roost Pre-requisites for Mac OS (Darwin)

  • Min 8 GB RAM (at least 4GB should be free)
  • VM Instance: Nested virtualisation should be enabled
  • Min Free Disk space 30 GB
  • Mac OS Version 10.0 or later
  • Install Git
  • Download DMG and install. Allow app permissions in Apple Security
  • Search for "Roost" in Applications (Finder)

  • Virtualisation is enabled at firmware level (BIOS)
  • For Pro/Server/Enterprise (64 bit) - Hyper-V is enabled "Turn on/off windows features"
  • For Home Edition (64 bit) - Install VirtualBox
